Ekberg to swim at Anderson

Senior Student/Athlete Joshua Ekberg will continue his athletic participation on the intercollegiate level as a member of the Men’s Swim Team at Anderson University.  Located in Anderson, Indiana, the Ravens are an NCAA Division III school that competes as a member of the Heartland Conference.  The 2017-2018 school year will be 2nd year that Anderson has offered swimming as an intercollegiate sport.     

A four-year letter winner and team captain who holds school records in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke, Josh will leave an indelible mark of the emerging M-S swim program.  He is an individual 2017 IHSA Sectional Medalist taking 3rd 100 Breaststroke and 4th in the 50 Freestyle and is also a Corn Belt Conference Champion in the 200 Meter IM and 100 Meter Breaststroke.  A 2016 Bulldog Award winner, Josh was recognized this year by high school staff during the Spring Breakfast of Champions.  He is the son of Dean and Ronda Ekberg and plans to major in Youth Ministry.
