Mahomet Easter Egg Hunt canceled; other updates from Mahomet Parks and Recreation

The following Mahomet Parks and Recreation Department programs have been canceled or modified:

• The Annual Egg Hunt, Sponsored by Dominos has been canceled this year.
• Adult fitness classes, Adult Open Gym Basketball and Wee Love Music programming have been suspended through April 17. 
• Indoor/outdoor facility rentals are canceled through April 17.
• The Youth Volleyball Clinic has been postponed.
• All other programs are being assessed and as more information becomes available
• Parks will remain open, please practice social distancing per the CDC guidelines.

Participants involved in the affected programs will be contacted via email regarding refunds/credits/etc. due to our cancellation or postponement per program.

The Mahomet Parks and Recreation office will remain open to the public, but in order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, they encourage our customers to use email and phone communication as much as possible to conduct business with MPRD.

They also encourage customers who have program registrations to either register online, mail in your payment/form or use our drop box at the front of our office at 218 S Lake of the Woods Road.
