Mahomet-Seymour to open Session I B.L.A.S.T. registration

Registration for the Mahomet-Seymour School District’s B.L.A.S.T. program will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. for first and second-grade classes at Middletown Prairie Elementary and 7 p.m. for third through fifth-grade classes Lincoln Trail Elementary.

B.L.A.S.T. programming is an after-school enrichment program that features classes in art, literature, engineering, sports, scrapbooking, yoga, crochet, and more.

Withing the fee-based program, the Mahomet Area Youth Club continues to provide scholarships to approximately 25-percent of enrollees.

The school district sent information home with students Thursday.
