McMurry leads Bulldog swimming

Mahomet-Seymour Girls’ swimming

Sophomore Olivia McMurry was the lone individual winner for the Bulldogs in Tuesday’s 114-55 dual-meet loss at Kankakee.

McMurry won the 100-yard freestyle and placed second in the 200-yard individual medley.

Eden Oelze took second in two events, the 100 butterfly and the 500 freestyle.

Miranda Marcelli captured a pair of third-place finishes, in the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.

Olivia Ross took third in the 100 breaststroke and fourth in the 50 freestyle.

Four other Bulldogs were top-four performers in one individual event.

Kate Raver was third in the 100 freestyle and Payton Turk was third in the 50 freestyle.

Natalie Heaton was fourth in the 100 backstroke and Anna Lagacy was fourth in the 100 breaststroke.
