Olivia Ross places 3rd in the 50-yard freestyle

The Bulldogs lost a 110-32 decision to Champaign Central in a dual meet on Monday (Sept. 28) in Champaign.

For the third meet in a row, M-S’ high-point scorer was senior Olivia Ross. Besides a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, Ross added fourths in both the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke races.

Two teammates captured a pair of top-four finishes.

Anna Lagacy took third in both the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke.

Natalie Heaton was fourth in two races: the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke.

Other team leaders were Elise Hertling (third in diving), Ana Iliff (third in the 500-yard freestyle), Kiera McCoy (fourth in the 200-yard individual medley) and Chloe Shapland (fourth in the 100-yard butterfly).

The Bulldogs return to action on Monday (Oct. 5) at Danville.
