MSSC ’09 girls undefeated this fall
The Mahomet-Seymour Soccer Club ’09 girls’ team has gone undefeated this fall with their last loss being in June; a close score of 0-1 resulting from a Penalty Kick.
This fall they have won the Lincoln FC tournament and went 3-0 in the recent IFC tournament. Winning 2 and tying their 3rd game 1-1. Marley Cloward, Breckyn Hess, and Jaycee Fancher being their top scorers. The team has outstanding defense, too. Lainey Jacobs at goalie along with Payson Steers, Katie Hunter, and Madi Koester back at defense in front of Jacobs.
They will continue their season tonight and Sunday in Bloomington for league games. The ’09 girls next tournament is in Chillicothe on October 11th.
